Ik vind dat Air France-KLM goed bezig is met mobiele website en App toepassingen. Ze begrijpen heel goed dat ze haar zakelijke reizigers een plezier kunnen doen met communicatie- en transactie mogelijkheden via SmartPhone toepassingen.

Mobile websites and BlackBerry App
In the beginning of February, both KLM and Air France launched a booking function on their mobile websites and via a BlackBerry app. In addition to this, an improved iPhone app with booking functionality has been released, with improved log-in capabilities and faster usage and is available from the App Store via an update.
These apps will enable you to make reservations wherever and whenever you like. Besides booking a ticket, you will also be able to check-in, select your own seats, use „Manage My Booking‟, check the time-table and your flight status, and find contact information. You can even use the revised apps to check your mileage count!

Since 1 February 2011, you can plan your travel with greater efficiency thanks to a new joint notification tool, brought to you by AIR FRANCE and KLM as part of their continuing drive to provide even better service to passengers. Offering you customised SMS and e-mail messages in eight languages, this innovative service is available on all operated AIR FRANCE, KLM and franchisee flights* worldwide.
To help you manage your journey more efficiently, AIR FRANCE and KLM will now send you instant flight status alerts via e-mail or SMS in case of gate changes, flight delays, flight cancellations and missing baggage.
In case of cancellation or delay at arrival or an unavailable “extra legroom” seat (which had been booked on KLM), AIR FRANCE and KLM will also send you an e-mail to apologise and offer you commercial compensation in Bonus Miles in certain cases.
To benefit from the service, don‟t forget to update your mobile phone number and e-mail address in your Flying Blue profile. You can also give them at the time of your next booking.

The “Automatic Check In” service saves you the hassle of checking in online or at the airport on Domestic and European flights*. To enjoy this convenient service, simply purchase your tickets at www.airfrance.com and choose to receive your boarding pass automatically. Then 30 hours before your flight‟s departure time, you will receive your boarding pass via e-mail or directly on your mobile device (via e-mail, sms or mms). Once you receive your boarding pass, you can change your seat on our online check-in to match your preference.
